A proactive approach

One Friday afternoon our Dutch claims controller learned from local news websites that our client’s production facility in the Netherlands had been hit by a massive fire and was clearly a major incident.

Knowing how important a loss this would be, rather than waiting for the client to call he got in touch direct to provide immediate support and then instructed professionals to go on site to help the client with their emergency response.

Within days the TMK team also visited the site of the fire and offered the client an advance payment to cover their initial expenses.

Subsequently we worked in close cooperation with the client’s CFO and their broker to guide them through the claims process for the buildings, plant and machinery damage - which was quickly settled.

The client wrote to say they considered us their partner through these times of trouble, and is thankful for our pro-active behaviour.

Within days the TMK team offered the client an advance payment to cover their initial expenses.
